IKIO has long been in the game, serving as a prominent lighting brand in India for over 30 years. Our decades of experience and resources enabled us to provide innovative lighting solutions across various segments, starting with commercial and industrial.
After establishing ourselves in the commercial and industrial industries in India, we grew in the retail scene as well. Our collaborative approach helped us secure opportunities with some very big names, such as Lifestyle, PUMA, Reliance Trends, TITAN, Adidas, and Hilton.
In a bid to go global and garner more opportunities, we expanded our lighting business into the US market, with the initial focus again being the industrial and commercial sectors.
In the later part of 2015, after equipping ourselves with all the latest technology for store lighting, we stepped up our solutions for American retail businesses. We made our solutions completely customizable to meet clients’ needs better.
So far, we have catered to hundreds of clients from different retail segments in the USA. We’ve created products from scratch for them. Our patented product—Marvela—was also created for a big retail brand as a retrofit to fit into its existing systems easily.

Ekam is endowed with a wealth of business acumen, strategic planning, analytics, economic insights, and a strategic vision – fundamental for the company’s growth and reputation as one of the leaders in the field of LED-based lighting technologies. After graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2014, he launched his startup and established himself as an entrepreneurial, goal-oriented problem solver – who believes in building real, personal connections with his team members. Being a young, dynamic, and pragmatic leader, he envisions taking the company to new heights and ensuring its sustained growth and success.
